Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's Occupational Therapy Team
Local authority service
How it can help
The Occupational Therapy Team can help people who have a physical disability to live safely and independently in their own homes.
An occupational therapy assessment can help decide the best way to meet your needs. A member of the team will contact you and may visit you at home, to find out what difficulties you may be having with everyday tasks. This could include:
- getting into or out of your home
- preparing and cooking meals
- dressing yourself
- washing yourself.
The team provide advice, guidance and practical help to work towards overcoming some of the concerns you or your carers may have.
You can get in touch with the team via the single point of access for adult social care.
