Care at home services often referred to as ‘homecare’ or 'domiciliary care', offer care and support to help you remain living at home.
A trained care worker will provide care and support to help maintain independence and quality of life in your own home. This can include but is not limited to:
- support with meal preparation;
- managing prescribed medications; or
- personal care such as washing, dressing and help with continence care.
Most care workers are not trained nurses; if you require nursing support please contact your GP.
