Supported living is for adults with a care need, most commonly a learning disability, physical disability or mental health diagnosis, who want to live as independently as possible.
Supported living can be either in shared accommodation or in individual units where care and support is provided on-site by a trained care worker.
If you would like to apply for supported housing and already have a social worker, you can ask them to help you. If you do not have a social care worker, you should contact Adult Social Care on 01642 771500 to ask for your needs to be assessed.
You can find a list of supported housing in Redcar and Cleveland in our service directory.
