Safeguarding

Find information about safeguarding.

Safeguarding is the protection of a person’s health, wellbeing and human rights to enable a life free from harm, abuse and neglect.

Abuse can take place anywhere. The abuser might be someone known to the person or they could be a stranger.

If you, or the person you are concerned about, are in immediate danger please call the emergency services on 999.

You can find useful information produced by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council’s Adults Social Care Department at Worried about an adult or a list of services that can support you in our service directory.
