About me
I hope to have created a welcoming and homely environment for the children in my care and their families. I live locally to and have access to amenities such as parks, libraries, the beach, children's centres and local shops. I try to provide the children with a range of opportunities and experiences, through providing planned activities and trips to meet the needs of the individual child/children.
I have a level three qualification in Home Based childcare, Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene. I also have a BA(Hon) Degree in Early Childhood Studies and a BTEC Level Three Diploma in Care, which hopefully will enable me to create a suitable setting for children to grow and develop.
SEND experience
I have a level two certificate in Special Education needs and Disability and levels one and two in BSL. Whilst childminding, I have been caring for a child with ADHD and hearing loss for 8 years. One of my sons has been diagnosed with Dyslexia and ADHD and another of my sons is on the ASD pathway.
