The School Choice Adviser works independently from the council's school admissions team in order to offer impartial advice and guidance about local schools and the school admissions process including:-
- Admission policies
- School Ofsted reports
- Oversubscription criteria
- Term dates
- School admission appeals
- Support with online applications
Parents can receive help to complete school place applications. Individual advice and guidance is also available in relation to the school admission appeals process and how to prepare admission appeal statements.
