Route 1 Coffee House

Route 1 Coffee House has created an environment for Adults with Disabilities where they can learn and earn through a Co-operative working to maintain and sell cycles.
How it can help

The people we support will go through a learning program to develop skills to build, maintain and repair cycles assisted by our qualified staff.  Profits are shared through a co-operative where our people will benefit and are involved with the financial/banking process so all understand what is involved and what is earned.

We have a quality training kitchen to develop life skills as part of the training program.  We aim to maximise on people’s potential and put these life skills into good use once learned in our coffee house area dealing with the public on a day to day basis to help improve people’s attitudes towards disabled people.

We are close to Redcar Town clock next to bus routes and easily accessible to the local community, we can assist you to decide on the service by having a free trial day which can be arranged on the first visit to our establishment.
