We have four primary schools which have an additionally resourced provision (ARP) attached to their school: St Peter's in Brotton, Dormanstown Primary in Redcar, South Bank Primary in South Bank and Grangetown Primary in Grangetown. Children must have an EHCP to access these settings. Schools will be consulted for places by the Local Authority SEND service.
We also have a ARP at Overfields Primary School. This is specifically for children with speech and language difficulty as their primary need. Children will be considered for a place within Overfields Speech and Language base by the Speech and Language Team and decisions made by a panel of professionals.
We currently have one Secondary School ARP at Freebrough Academy for children with Autism. Children must have an EHCP to attend and places will be consulted for by our local authority.
