The Junction
The Junction is a local charity that aims to make a difference to the lives of children, young people and their families. Working with children and young people aged up to 25 and their families, The Junction achieves a range of positive outcomes.
How it can help
The Junction’s services are person centred, confidential, non-judgemental and are delivered through:
One to One Support
- Therapeutic, social and family group work
- Specialised children young people’s counselling service
- Whole Family support (young carers and young adult carers)
Through specific projects and activities The Junction also delivers peer mentor training, volunteering and workforce development, raising awareness of mental ill health, young carers and young adult carers.
The Junction works towards achieving 3 life changing Objectives:
- Supporting Children and young people to build resilience and rise above life’s challenges
- Making life better for young carers, young adult carers and their families
- Empowering young people to remove their barriers, unlock their potential and exceed their expectations.
