Social, Emotional and Mental Health Services - Getting Help for Children and Young People

Aycliffe School is an Independent, non-maintained special school for children and young people with Autism, learning difficulties and/or disabilities.

At Butterfly Counselling, we have many years of experience providing counselling therapy with a specialist understanding of counselling people autism and neurodiversity.

Daisy Chain runs a variety of social clubs and youth groups for young people aged 5-17.

Education Plus NE will work in partnership to ensure we cater for the needs of the area specifically those students: -
At risk of exclusion from school
Excluded from school on a fixed term basis
At risk of disengaging from mainstream education
Require additional support during a negotiated transfer between mainstream schools
Otherwise require alternative education provision to meet their educational entitlement, for instance in line with an Education, Health and Care Plan or is a Looked After Child with no school place.

We are a social club for Adults aged 18-25 with disabilities.

Funds medical research to improve child health; Funds grants for essential equipment, offers support services via a nurse helpline; campaigns for a fairer deal for disabled children.

We have, through amazing community support, successfully created a Sensory Play environment in our huge multi-use main hall.

At The Bungalow Partnership we support children, young people, adults and families across Teesside. We do this by providing a wide range of creative therapies, parenting, mentoring and emotional wellbeing support aimed at improving the emotional wellbeing of local people and supporting families to enjoy positive relationships with each other.

The Junction is a local charity that aims to make a difference to the lives of children, young people and their families. Working with children and young people aged up to 25 and their families, The Junction achieves a range of positive outcomes.

The Link is a North East based professional mental health and emotional wellbeing provider.
