We work with people who receive social care and/or health funding to meet their care needs, these are referred to as ‘Direct Payments’ and ‘Personal Health Budgets’.

The South Tees Changing Futures programme is a joint initiative by Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland Councils enabling all local organisations to work in partnership to better support those who experience multiple disadvantages. The South Tees programme is one of fifteen partnerships nationwide that successfully bid for funding from the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) and The National Lottery Community Fund.

South Tees Youth Justice Service is a multi-agency partnership, with representatives from Cleveland Police, Middlesbrough Council, Redcar and Cleveland Council, and the National Probation Service.

Springboard is one of the largest and longest established training providers in the North East of England. Over the past 40 years we have grown into a vibrant organisation with excellent premises and facilities across Sunderland, South Tyneside, East Durham and Hartlepool offering a wide range of training courses and employment opportunities, including traineeships and apprenticeships.

Emotional Wellbeing in Teesside (EWIT) is a new primary care mental health service, developed to support community members who are experiencing mild to moderate levels of anxiety and or depression in the Teesside area.

Target provides a leaving care service for young people that are care experienced aged 16-25.

If you’ve been in the care of the Local Authority, there are a range of services available to help you. This can include help to get accommodation and support.

NHS North East & North Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB) has worked with the local authorities in Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland, Stockton, and Hartlepool to commission a coordinated service to provide equipment for children across Tees.  Health professionals and social care teams now order equipment via Tees Community Equipment Service (TCES).
