The family support service will provide families with the best possible guidance and information for families with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
The service will bring families together in local groups and online, to support each other by sharing experiences and advice, help families to campaign, volunteer, fundraise and shape local services to improve life for themselves and others.
As well as providing local advice, their regional teams organise coffee mornings, family fun days and outings, bringing families together for friendship and support.
Families will have access to workshops that will cover a range of topics important to families, from money matters and family finances to wellbeing and confidence tips for parents.
These workshops give parents the chance to share their experiences and learn from others too as part of a small group.
